Guillermo Willie, Artist
I have been been drawing for ages. When I was young, I would copy Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's images of crazy-looking characters driving hot rods, and later on I'd copy the images of "muscle men" posing in Strength and Health magazine. That's how I began learning to draw. Years later, while in prison, I began learning to paint via Arts In Corrections, and I'm still learning.
What you will see here is what comes from inside of me, from the gut. It is feeling and meaning. It may not be the pretty picture that everyone will want to hang over their couch, but it is real, it is beautiful, and it is art.
Look at it. You will feel it. Even if you can't quite discern what you are feeling, you will definitely be affected by it.
